Central to our work is placing a process of enquiry and exploration using the skills and working methods of artists to problem solve and make visible ideas, aspirations and new realities. The skills that artists employ - of researching, enabling, facilitating, creating, producing and documenting - all offer different ways of creating work that reveals and promotes new ways of seeing and interpreting the world around us. Working with artists and communities, Filament Works co-evolves working methods that can be applied to address identified societal need.
